Ticket options will include limited-time discounts, free admission for military
and youth 15 and under with paid adult

More than 56,000 fans enjoyed the inaugural PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship last June, generating more than $1 million for Wisconsin charities. Tickets are now available for purchase for the 2017 event, featuring the championship playing debut of host Steve Stricker. The championship will take place June 23-25, once again at University Ridge golf course in Madison, Wis.

Fans can visit the tournament website at and select the Tickets button on the home page. There are no ticket price increases for 2017; in fact, special discounts will be offered for purchases now through June 1. Those include:

  • $5 off a $25 general admission ticket
  • $5 off $20 AARP Champions tickets (50 years +)
  • $10 off $50 Clubhouse tickets (Clubhouse tickets include special amenities)

Active duty, reserve and retired military personnel can again enjoy a free three-day pass and any child 15 and under gets free admission to the tournament with a paid adult admission.“We were amazed at the response to last year’s event and it confirmed our belief that fans would embrace a PGA TOUR Champions event in Wisconsin,” said Nate Pokrass, tournament director. “We promise fans an equally great experience - and a great value for their sports entertainment dollar – in 2017, and look forward to announcing more in the coming months, including player commitments.”

Stricker will play in the tournament this year, as he becomes eligible for the PGA TOUR Champions when he turns 50 in February. Wisconsin resident and PGA winner Jerry Kelly also joins the PGA TOUR Champions this year.

Also, more than 800 volunteers have already signed up to work at the 2017 event. Those interested in learning more about the remaining volunteer opportunities can visit and/or sign up at the volunteer page on the tournament website.

In addition to the event website, fans are encouraged to follow the tournament’s social media channels: Twitter: @amfamchamp; Facebook: American Family Insurance Championship; and Instagram: AmFamChampionship
